How It Works
CO₂ has characteristic absorption peaks in the infrared band, with a slight difference between the absorption peak positions of ¹³CO₂ and ¹²CO₂. HCBT-01 utilises this difference to measure each concentration independently.
It then calculates the delta over baseline (DOB) of ¹³C isotope abundance to determine whether the patient has been infected with H. pylori — delivering definitive results for clinical decision-making.
